Closed frame of thin-walled one-side galvanised steel shells (SSP 161), black as photographed. The webbed aluminium casting in the underside photos is the differential cross member, not the subframe. ETKA 'support frame' 4D0 505 235 E (marked white). Sections generic. Conservative mounting/service pockets with illustrative 3 mm static margins. Pocket shapes are not measured factory geometry.
